Axion's systems not only meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Buy America Act, they also exceed industry specifications and parameters.

Our systems feature cutting-edge digital or analog technology to ensure clear and audible message transmission. With their modular design, they are compatible with existing equipment and allow for extensions or improvements to be added easily at a later date. In addition, they simplify the rail network's common interface, reduce the number of required transmission lines, detect problems, and are easy to maintain.

Our audio systems offer the following range of features:

  • Passenger messages
  • Identification of attendants
  • Emergency announcements
  • Radio broadcasting
  • Next stop digitized announcements
  • Positioning on route
  • Transponder
  • Control units
  • Buttons for calling attendants
  • Loudspeakers

Subsystems included:

  • Control Subsystem
  • This integrated feature of the modular microprocessor controls the other subsystems. With the strength of our basic system, and using the existing architecture as a platform, we are able to enhance reliability and simplify system integration in all the rail cars.

  • CCTV
  • The addition of video surveillance completes our audio system, enabling operators to monitor activity both inside and outside the train.

Our systems are available for shuttle, high speed, intercity, light rail, and monorail trains.
